If the friend wasn't fine with it surely she would have brought it up, and wouldn't have encouraged it by letting her brother know. I certainly wouldn't.

I would say dont go there. I once chose to sleep with my best friends brother, and when she found out she never forgave me. Friendship is alot more important than a guy!

I dont really agree with that! From personal experience if you are actually serious about wanting to date him then you should talk to your friend about it first. If the relationship ends, yes it will be awkward for a while but things will get easier and its not going to change your friendship in the long run.

I wouldn't go there.
Your friendship with your best friend is way more important than a 'potential' relationship.
If you did get together, if the relationship ended, it would be highly awkward between you and your best friend, the ex, and the whole family.

Whilst drunk a few weeks ago, i told my best friend i would 'do' her brother. So she txt him and told him. Her brother n i have now been texting one another since. I like him but do i go there? Hes my bestfriends brother and im not 100% sure shes fine with it all.
