New book set to reveal all

A new tell-all book about Britney Spear's spectacular fall from grace is currently being shopped around to New York publishers.

The book, tentatively titled, Stalking Britney: Under Siege with Britney Spears, is written by investigative journalist Ian Halperin.

Halperin has stated that the book will be "a sympathetic portrayal of the rise and fall of Britney Spears...it's an undercover expose where I posed and stalked her as a member of the paparazzi."

Halperin joined the paparazzi who camp outside Britney's gated home (waiting for the all-important money shot of the popwreck) to get the inside scoop on the family Spears.

The book claims that Britney's former manager, Sam Lufti, turned her against her parents, Jamie and Lynne, and that Britney is so desperate for attention that she calls photographers to notify them of her schedule.

Other allegations include:

• Britney considered suicide
• Britney once talked of hiring a hitman during her disastrous marriage to Kevin Federline
• A former accountant claimed that Britney's fortune has diminished considerably in the past two years, due to her entourage of 'parasitic leeches.'
