Colour me happy
Chelsea, 19, marketing and events assistantThe canvas: Being “blessed” with freckles, Chelsea has always had difficulty finding the perfect foundation for her skin.
The base: Bulic,
who’s worked with Mischa Barton and Cate Blanchett, recommends matching
foundation to the skin underneath your dots. “Test it on your chest and
arms, which typically have fewer freckles.” By using this trick, your
"sun kisses" will still show through.
The eyes: Girls
with strawberry-blonde hair tend to have fair lashes and brows, so use
products to define them. “We used a blonde-taupe pencil on Chelsea’s
brows,” says Bulic.
She also suggests using black eyeliner to make
lashes appear thicker. To bring out Chelsea’s hazel eyes, Bulic applied
a natural shadow base, with taupe in the crease.
The advice:
“I love freckly skin,” Bulic says. “It’s a bit drier than other skin
types, so in many cases you barely need foundation because the skin is
naturally clear.” | |
