Like Elle, Claudia, Naomi and Cindy, Miranda needs only one name. Our October cover girl is Australia's sexiest export, and she's on the verge of becoming bigger than The Body.

It's fitting that Miranda is gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan for the first time - after all, she got her career kickstart when she won our sister mag's (Dolly) modelling competition in 1997. Since then, the girl from Gunnedah has walked for Betsey Johnson, Baby Phat, Lisa Ho, Rock & Republic, Roberto Cavalli, and of course, Victoria's Secret. She's the first Australian to be contracted to the lingerie label, and the first Australian 'Angel'. She was also the tenth highest-paid model of 2008, taking home $3.5 million.
