Scientists work on theories - as in the 'theory' of evolution. they have an idea and then look for 'facts' to justify there idea. think about it, if you look hard enough for validation, anything can be justified. A 'fact' is something that can be proven - science is still just someone's 'theory' or opinion. God loves people, regardless of the choices they make - that's the beauty of free will.

T^he belief that God made humans to be straight and to only procreate with humans of the opposite sex can be countered with the FACT that human beings who are gay have been created that way. It has been scientifically proven that people who find their same sex attractive have this trait in their DNA. They are born this way. So why would God create that if it were so wrong ??? I don't believe anyone should have to jusify their personl lives in the name of God.

Good on them! I am straight but I think it's really sad that a few of you have said such horrible things about gay people. I don't know these two personally obviously, but I love the Ellen show and she seems like a really nice, genuine person. I'm also not much of a religious person, but from what I have gathered the Bible talks about accepting people as they are. It's beyond me that the church can 'forgive' and protect pedophile priests but not these great people who happen to be gay. Go Ellen!

OMG congrats. they are a beautiful couple and if you's are happy then continue living you're life's together..good on you girls.. and for a reply to an above comment on which she said about god.. i think its really gr8 that they can dinally get what they want.
