Make your workout even cleaner

A gym in Portland, Oregon, will reduce its carbon footprint using energy generated by workouts.

Green Microgym, which opens this week, is powered by a combination of solar energy and human-powered renewable energy created by cycling and cardio machines.

The gym also features energy-efficient treadmills, lighting, ceiling fans and televisions.

This is an absolutely fabulous idea. I would be stoked knowing that my hard vwork on the treadmill or crosstrainer was being used for electricity. It would make my work outs worth that little bit more. This should be put into all gyms throughout the world and we would start to really make a difference.  Report thisReport this
