A 52-year-old Los Angeles woman is suing Victoria's Secret after trying on a "defective" v-string in one of their stores.
The woman, Macrida Patterson, filed her intent to sue last week. She alleges that, while trying on the "Sexy Little Thing" v-string, a metallic piece flew off and hit her in the eye. Patterson, who is suing for an undisclosed amount, claims that the injury caused permanent corneal damage and that she had to take time away from work to recover.
Whatever happens, Patterson has certainly chosen the right company to sue. Last year, sales topped $5 billion.
