About my Galliano creation
- Glass Style:
- Catalina glass
- Ingredients:

- 1. 30ml Galliano L'Autentico
- 2. 30ml Lemon juice
- 3. 10ml Spiced syrup
- 4. 30ml Mount Gay Eclipse Rum
- 5. 30ml Apricot puree
- Method:
- Combine all elements in a Boston shaker, pour into a Catalina glass.
Inspiration behind my Galliano Creation
My inspiration for this cocktail comes from a trip to the Cinque Terre (Five Villages) in Italy. Cinque Terre is a portion of coast on the Italian Riviera, comprising five beautiful small villages. I spent a week walking between these villages. The walk between the villages was called the Via Del Amore - the Walk of Love, because of the beautiful scenery and romantic atmosphere. It’s easy to lose yourself with someone as you gaze out onto the Mediterranean Sea watching the sun set on a cliff amongst the grape vines. I brought this experience and applied this passion to the drink I’ve created.
Why I should be Galliano’s Hottest Bartender?
A day lived without passion is not a day lived at all. This is a life principle which defines how I live and how I approach bartending. As a bartender perhaps I should amend this to: "A night lived without passion is not a night lived at all." Images: Belinda Rolland
