For the past few years, world champion surfer Layne Beachley has been channelling her passion and energy into her cause – The Layne Beachley Aim for the Stars Foundation.
Recognising that not every young woman has financial support, the foundation, started in 2003, aims to provide moral and monetary support to help eligible women achieve their goals. Layne knows all about struggle – while working her way to the top of the female surfing competition, she did numerous jobs just to pay her way on the circuit. She wants to help make the path to success easier for other women.
