Health Q&A

Question:

How much proteins, carbs, and fat should you aim for in each meal? from Alison

Answer:

An extremely rough guide for an average sized main meal would be between 40-60 grams of total carbohydrate, 20-30 grams of protein and less than 20 grams of total fat, most of which should be unsaturated fats from plant oils and nuts as opposed to fatty meats.

  • Per Day: when i was gaining muscle at gym i was doing 1 gram of protein per 1 pound of bodyweight, and i was eating about 2000-2500 in carbs, though im not sure about fat, cause i was going for weight gain fat wasnt all that bad because you need fat to gain muscle :) Just make sure your going to drink plenty of water if you want to increase your protein intake! i had up to 5L per day when on a high protein diet.
