Scent of a stripper

What's that smell?

In a marketing ploy that seems too absurd to be true, candle company Hotwicks is targeting male consumers with candles that emit the scents of urinal cakes and strippers.

Can you imagine that brainstorming meeting from whence this came?

Ad Man 1: So...what do you think guys like to smell?
Ad Man 2: Mmm....definitely not the kinds of things that women like to smell. No, no, men won't like the smell of alpine forests, or fresh lilies, or even oven-baked cakes.
Ad Man 3: Cakes! That's it! What man doesn't love a urinal cake?
Ad Men 1, 2 and 3: (nod and congratulate each other).

Seriously, though, I'm not sure if this is all just a big joke or if there really is a market for the candle that brings "the industrial chemical freshness of a public restroom right to your home."
