Twenty-four year old Talita started her successful boutique business when she identified a gap in the market for women’s formal wear. At just 19 she opened her first Esther clothing store in Launceston, with one staff member, a loan from the bank and a leap of faith. Now, she has two stores (a second opened in Hobart in 2008), employs eight staff and has a loyal client base. Not content with that success, Talita has plans for more stores and wants to design a range of dresses.
Showing a philanthropic side, Esther also supports non-profit organisations, charities and high school fashion events.
