Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids are all grown up!
Thanks to their celebrity parents, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne have been known to the public since they were babies. However, aside from popping out to accompany their mum to the occasional red carpet, the A-list brood have lived relatively private lives.
But while they may not be super-duper famous, all the Jolie kids are exploring their various interests and making their own respective ways in the world. Curious as to what they’ve been up to? Scroll on to find out!

Maddox
Angelina adopted Maddox as a single mother in 2001, while she was in Cambodia filming Tomb Raider.
She later told Vanity Fair that she was visiting an orphanage in the provincial town of Battambang when she saw Maddox lying in a box suspended from the roof. She recalled feeling a bond instantly, telling the publication, “I cried and cried.”
When Angelina began dating now-ex-husband Brad Pitt, he began the process to adopt Maddox as well.
At just 23-years-old, the star’s eldest has a pretty impressive resumé. Not only was he credited as an executive producer on the 2017 film Angelina directed about the Cambodian genocide, First They Killed My Father; he has a biochemistry degree from South Korea’s Yonsei University, and attended a state dinner at the White House last year when Joe and Jill Biden hosted South Korea’s President and First Lady.
Pax
Pax was born just outside Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2003. He was adopted by Angelina in 2007 and Brad in 2008.
Pax has an obvious interest in the family business, having kicked off his acting career by voicing the character Yoo in Angelina’s 2016 animated hit, Kung Fu Panda 3.
He has also worked on several of his mum’s other projects. Pax served as a set photographer, working with Ange and Maddox, on First They Killed My Father. He later helped decorate the NYC flagship of Angelina’s fashion company, Atelier Jolie and worked on the set of her upcoming film Without Blood.
Zahara
Angelina’s eldest daughter is 19-year-old Zahara, who she adopted from an orphanage in Hawassa, Ethiopia in 2005.
Like her brothers, Zahara is already super accomplished. Not only is she currently attending Atlanta’s Spelman College *and* a regular fixture on her mum’s arm at glam events—she has launched a charitable jewellery line, Zahara Collection and made humanitarian trips to Syrian refugee camps as part of Angelina’s work with UNHCR, per E!.
Zahara made headlines in November 2023 when she gave a speech at her new sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha. When introducing herself, she notably omitted “Pitt” from her surname. However, Zahara has never publicly confirmed that she has legally changed her name.
Shiloh
Meet Ange’s mini-me! Shiloh was born in Namibia in May 2006, just months after her mum publicly announced her pregnancy.
Not only has a now-18-year-old Shiloh shown plenty of interest in her mum’s humanitarian efforts, but she is involved in the entertainment industry, too. The young star went viral in 2022 after her dance studio, Millennium Dance Complex shared a video of her performing choreography to Doja Cat’s ‘Vegas,’ from the Elvis sound track. The girl’s sure got moves!
On her 18th birthday, Shiloh submitted a petition at a Los Angeles Court to remove her dad’s surname from her own, changing her name from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to just Shiloh Jolie. A source told E! News at the time that Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it by herself.
Knox
Ange caused a stir at the 2024 Governor’s Awards—and not just because she looked phenomenal! The actor was accompanied by her youngest son, Knox, who looked very grown up in his first red carpet appearance in over three years.
Knox is one-half of Angelina and Brad’s 16-year-old twins, who were born in Nice, France in 2008. Angelina had previously debuted her baby bump at that year’s Independent Spirit Awards.
Like his siblings, Knox had a small role in 2016’s Kung Fu Panda 3. He voiced the role of Ku Ku.
Vivienne
Knox’s twin sister is Vivienne, who recently accompanied (and colour-coordinated with) her mum to the 77th Annual Tony Awards. It was more than fitting that she attended, given Ange says Vivienne was the one who encouraged her to help bring an adaptation of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Outsiders to Broadway. She even served as a volunteer assistant to her mum on the project!
Famously, Vivienne made her on-screen debut as a toddler. At 4-years-old, she played the younger version of Elle Fanning’s Aurora in Maleficent. She was cast out of necessity, with Ange telling Entertainment Weekly at the time: “Other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] really wouldn’t come near me … So in order to have a child that wants to play with [Maleficent]…it had to be a child that really liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv.”
