Hollywood is basically the Wild West of baby names. From fruits to directions—in Tinseltown, no inspo is off limits.

However, for Cardi B, one name may have been a little too obscure. The rapper is currently pregnant with her third child and naturally, fans have been hyped speculating on Baby B’s name. One rumour was that the star had settled on the moniker Hurricane, and one fan took to X to announce, “Cardi shares ultra sound pic of baby “Hurricane””.

Cardi, evidently confused, replied to the Tweet with a simple, “Who???” followed by crying emojis.

Cardi announced her pregnancy on August 1—the same day she filed for divorce from husband Offset after six years of marriage. The two rappers already share two children; daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 3.

“With every ending comes a new beginning!” Cardi wrote on Instagram at the time. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”

She continued, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”

Despite their estrangement and ongoing divorce proceedings, Cardi and Offset reunited on August 31 to celebrate Wave’s birthday.

The pair haven’t confirmed whether baby number 3 is a boy or a girl—although, we do know it won’t be called Hurricane.
