Carlos Sainz, our resident Spanish heartthrob, has been making moves on and off the race track—the Formula One race track, that is.
Known for his jaw-dropping Grand Prix wins for Ferrari in 2022, ‘23 and ‘24, and his undeniable charm, Carlos has been stealing the hearts of F1 fans, but with the news of his missus, our hearts just may be broken.
From what we know, Carlos is dating model Rebecca Donaldson, and honestly they are really cute!
Considering the Australian Grand Prix is happening this weekend, what better time to deep dive into one of our fave drivers romances?

Who is Rebecca Donaldson?
Well, for starters, she’s Carlos Sainz’s gf, but if you think you’ve seen her before, you probably have, we mean, she’s been on the cover of some of the worlds most prominent fashion magazines, including ELLE, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
The now 28-year-old UK-based model actually her career over ten years ago, and told Daily Record that she began modelling after her mum entered her in a modelling competition at just 17-years-old, which, by no surprise, she ended up winning.
“My mum entered me and I was really surprised when I found out,” she said. “We had to go to rehearsals to practice catwalk type dances before going in front of four judges at the Gardyne Theatre in Dundee.”
Rebecca has previously been linked to Leonard DiCaprio during a trip to St Barts in 2023, and to Scott Disick, who she was seen with at the premiere of The Kardashians in April 2022.
Are Carlos Sainz & Rebecca Donaldson Still Together in 2025?
Well, their relationship first came into our radar in June of 2023, when a video posted to Twitter showed the pair walking through Milan together. While the clip seemed quite innocent and uneventful, we know that the internet loves to put its own spin on things, and as it turns out, this time it was right.
Not long after this clip started circulating, the two were photographed holidaying together in Corsica, France (during the F1 summer break ofc!).
Rebecca has since become a regular trackside supporter of Carlos. Oh, and in case that wasn’t proof enough of a romantic relationship, at the Australian Grand Prix last year, where Carlos won, they were spotted sharing a congratulatory kiss—aww, you guys.

Who Did Carlos Sainz Date Before Rebecca Donaldson?
We spoke of Rebecca’s dating history, so it would only be fair to recap Carlos’ too.
Before Rebecca, Carlos was actually in a long term relationship with Spanish journalist, Isa Hernáez. It seems we’ve never been able to catch him while he’s single.
The couple’s relationship dated back to 2017, and despite keeping their romance out of the public eye, Isa couldn’t resist supporting her racer bf, becoming a regular at Grand Prix races around the globe.
Unfortunately after six years together, the pair called it quits, with Isa confirming the breakup to Hola! in June 2023.
“I’ll keep the good, of course, always. I wish him all the best,” she said.
