In case you haven’t been watching Drive To Survive, George is often accompanied a gorgeous brunette. The woman on the arm of 27-year-old British driver? His girlfriend, Carmen Mundt.
No, this season isn’t Carmen’s first appearance on the show. If you’re an avid fan, you’ll know the two have been a couple since 2020. As we can see in Drive To Survive, Carmen is George’s biggest trackside supporter—which is so adorable if we may say so.
Who is Carmen Mundt?
Formally known as Carmen Montero Mundt, Carmen is a Spanish-born business girly. Born in 1998 and raised in Jerez in Spain’s southern Andalusian region, she moved to the UK to further her education in her early adolescence. Having studied at the University of Westminster in London, Carmen holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance.
As we briefly mentioned, she met George in 2020. That was before she completed her degree, but she didn’t let George derail her plans. After graduating, Carmen went on to start a career in financial management.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she explained, “I always wanted to work in finance.”
“My family struggled financially during the global crisis and that determined what I wanted to do from a very young age,” she continued.
When Did George & Carmen Meet?
George and Carmen were introduced by mutual friends at the start of 2020. Ny the end of 2020, you can bet the couple were Insta official.
How Long Has George Russell Been With His Girlfriend?
As of February this year, George and Carmen have been together for five years.
On February 8, Carmen posted a black and white photo of the her and her bf to Instagram, writing: “Five years with the most wonderful person I could ever ask for 
forever proud of who you are and what you do.”
Is George Russell Engaged?
Rumours George and Carmen are engaged have been swirling on the internet but it’s all purely speculative.
Although we’re yet to spot a ring on Carmen’s finger, Australian former driver Mark Weber, made a comment that we just can’t stop thinking about: “Please help the bride out with the rowing technique mate.”
So, with this being the only sign we have that the pair is engaged, we can’t say for certain—but we definitely hope he puts a ring on her soon (if he hasn’t already!).
