Does Joe Keery Have a Girlfriend?
It’s not *entirely* clear whether or not Joe Keery has a girlfriend right now — but don’t be alarmed, if it’s anything like his music career, the truth will come out eventually.
Here’s what we do know.
In October 2023, Joe was linked to actress Chase Sui Wonders after they made a public appearance together in New York City. Based on recent interviews, it seems this relationship has come to an end, however — even though fans of both actors are still speculating.
Prior to this, Joe dated actress Maika Monroe for two whole years. The couple debuted their relationship in October 2017 at the Stranger Things 2 premiere, and despite regularly making public appearances, we never really heard a peep out of the two on their relationship.
In 2024, Joe opened up about his breakup with Maika in an interview with Variety. He described the period following their split as a time of isolation, coinciding with his filming of Fargo Season 5 in Calgary.
“I had just gone through a big breakup, right as I was leaving Rome [for Finally Dawn], so I was really isolated and focused on my work,” he told the outlet. “My social life pretty much revolved around the show, my work life revolved around the show. We weren’t really leaving due to COVID-19.”
This breakup, although saddening, seemed to fuel his musical career too, which we can see in his track “Delete Ya” — a breakup song is so Taylor Swift of him.
As of April 2025, Joe continues to focus on his music career, and is currently preparing for the release of his third studio album, The Crux.
