We went on a trip together, and we went rock climbing… He actually — it was very Michael — he asked me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was okay to propose before he proposed.” She continued, “I think it was super smart. It was safe. He had the ring in his backpack, so it was super cute.”
The pair also don’t appear to have any problems mixing business with pleasure, with the star telling People, regarding the release of her hit album Harlequin, that her fiancé was a co-executive producer on the project.
“It’s just the first time that we decided to fully just go into it and do it. It just felt right. I just love my fiancé so much, He’s my best friend. He’s my partner, and I just feel like when you are with your best friend, everything changes.”

Businessman and tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky was first linked to Lady Gaga via her Instagram on February 4, 2020, when she shared a pic of the pair from Miami.
“We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best!” She captioned the post.
He is a Harvard University graduate, tech investor and co-founder of multiple companies, including Avos Capital Management, Outer Biosciences, and Hawktail. He also runs Napster founder Sean Parker’s company, Parker Group.

In a rare, tell-all interview with Vogue in September 2024, Gaga gushed over her man and didn’t spare any details. “I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life and very different,” she revealed.
