No matter what Lorde does, it seems to turn to gold. When she dropped that strangely poetic and deeply dark song ‘Royals’ back in 2013, she was quickly crowned the gothic heroine of anti-pop. A career that’s gone from strength to strength is no mean feat in the music industry — especially when you’re starting out from a little country miles from the epicentre of the music industry, might we add — and after taking a hiatus from the fame game, Lorde has re-emerged back on the scene more herself than ever.
Between her much publicised fraught-friendship-turned-besties dynamic with Charli XCX to a poignantly revealing Rolling Stones profile, the stage was set for the release of Lorde’s fourth studio album Virgin. It was met with (expectedly) glowing critical reviews, and now, the artist has just announced she’ll be bringing her Ultrasound Tour to Australia and New Zealand. Here’s what we know.
When Is Lorde's 'Ultrasound' Tour?
Lorde has announced she’ll be bringing the tour of her fourth album Virgin to Australia and her home town of New Zealand in February of 2026. She kicks the Ultrasound Tour off in Auckland on February 11 and will wrap it up in Perth of February 25.
Where Is Lorde Taking The 'Ultrasound' Tour?
Lorde will be bringing her Ultrasound Tour to the major cities across Australia and her hometown of New Zealand. She’ll be hitting:
- Auckland: February 11, 2026
- Christchurch: February 13, 2026
- Brisbane: February 16, 2026
- Sydney: February 18, 2026

After initially leaving us southern hemisphere nations off her Ultrasound Tour (ouch) she did hint that she would be back to play some shows soon, telling Stuff “Could you imagine if I didn’t [bring a show to New Zealand]? That would be bad, that would be bad,” she said. “Watch this space,” she added.
