Champagne glasses at the ready because one of Britain’s most beloved reality TV shows is getting an Australian spinoff.
Earlier this year, Channel 7 announced it had green-lit an Aussie version of Made in Chelsea, the long-running series which follows a group of rich young adults in West London. Naturally, given the source material, producers headed to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for filming, following a pack of the area’s young elite for what would come to be titled, Made in Bondi.
Based on the trailer, the show seems set to feature all the raucous behaviour, petty dramas and extravagant adventures (aka parties) that Made in Chelsea is famous for. A quick peruse of the cast’s Instagram accounts will also reveal plenty of meals at Totti’s (we can’t blame them), overseas holidays and more than a few jet skis. Sound right up your alley? Scroll on to meet the cast of Made in Bondi, and find out when and where to watch it—oh, and where it was actually filmed (because Australia’s most famous stretch of sand was frequented much less than you’d have thought, given the title).

Wait, Wasn't There Already an Aussie Spin-Off of Made In Chelsea?
This actually isn’t the first time the series has had a crack Down Under. In late 2023, the OG English show did a winter special, with the Made in Chelsea cast taking Aus in a limited series titled Made in Chelsea: Sydney.
Isabella and Lachlan (Lachy) actually both appeared on the show so if they look familiar to MiC super-fans, that may be why.
Where Was Made in Bondi Filmed?
Surprise! Despite its name, Made in Bondi wasn’t actually all filmed in the famous (and notoriously touristy) Sydney suburb.
The cast was previously snapped filming on the beach in nearby Tamarama, and eagle-eyed fans will surely spot some familiar spots in the trailer. These include Palm Beach, Circular Quay (hello, Opera Bar), Centennial Park and Ester Spirits in Marrickville.
There are a few iconic Bondi hotspots featured, too, including the beachside bar, Hotel Ravesis and the famous Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk.
