Married at First Sight Australia 2025 really was a wild ride… Not only did the season weather multiple leaks, rogue contestants and several scandals, but two contestants re-coupled post-experiment and are now getting married for real.

After weeks of speculation, pap pics released on March 9 confirmed that Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Riced were an item, after moving on from MAFS 2025.

Clint entered the experiment at the half-way point as one of the “intruders,” and was matched with returning bride Lauren Hall. Jacqui was paired with Ryan Donnelly from the beginning of the season, and they made it the whole way through before splitting for good at the final vows.

After the pictures of the pair getting cosy while on a walk in Tasmania were released to the public, the New Zealander bride went on to confirm the romance herself via social media, despite the season (on which she was still “married” to Ryan) still airing at the time.

Jacqui and Clint are clearly going strong, given they’re on track to tie the knot IRL.

Yep — to celebrate the end of the season, So Dramatic!‘s Megan Pustetto hosted a viewing party for the MAFS Reunion episode this week. Clint and Jacqui were both in attendance, along with their co-stars Billy Belcher and Dave Hand.

The pair took the party up a notch, capping the celebrations with a real-life marriage proposal.

“We signed for Married At First Sight to get married… So, I’ve got one question for you,” Clint said at the end of a speech, getting down on one knee in front of the room and asking Jacqui to marry him.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

That brings the total number of couples to come out of MAFS 2025 to two – although, the experts can only take credit for one of those pairings… better luck next year, producers!
