As we all know (we hope), the Married at First Sight Australia (MAFS) experiment doesn’t have the best track record. Yes, while there may be a few successes each year, overall, the experiment is kinda a bust—except for the great rush of drama and entertainment it gives us.
This season, the question on all of our minds is whether Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels will be joining the leaderboard of successful marriages.
Remember: they did choose each other once before—as in, they dated for a month prior to entering the experiment—which is a first for MAFS. Talk about breaking the mould. Accordingly, it’s no shocker they’ve been serving up major couple goals, from their steamy chemistry to their off-the-charts banter.
Plus, the couple’s recent drama with Jacqui Burfoot gave us all the hope we needed. Their ability to stick together through it all proved that they’re *possibly* this year’s strongest couple.
Fans are eating it up, and their social media is giving us ALL the heart eyes. But, let’s not get too carried away—this is MAFS, after all.

What their close friends had to say...
In a recent episode of the So Dramatic! podcast, several sources close to the couple spilled the tea on Rhi and Jeff.
“Yes, Rhi and Jeff are still together now,” one pal told host Megan Pustetto. “They go all the way on the show and end up being one of the biggest success stories this season.”
“They make the perfect couple; they are definitely end game.”
Meanwhile, another insider said the pair “have a fairytale ending” and are “so in love”.
“They have also since moved in with each other and are so loved up. It’s beautiful,” they added.
Ahhh, this is just the news we needed.
Recent outings?
As we’ve seen all over the media—including their own social accounts—the couple haven’t really been trying to keep their relationship after the experiment on the DL.
Rhi and Jeff were recently spotted at the South Melbourne markets in late February. They were also seen dining with co-stars Carina Mirabile and Dave Hand (yes, we’re all wondering where Jamie is—Paul? Well after the wall punching, we’re not too worried about his whereabouts).
To add to this, earlier in the month, they were pictured with each other’s friends and partners, with Rhi taking a pic next to Jeff’s best mate’s girlfriend at the recent Luke Combs concert—did someone say double date?
Jeff was also spotted at a boys’ golf day with Rhi’s friends’ partners—this is all too cute!
Oh and, AFLW and Australian Survivor star Abbey Holmes—who set the couple up before the experiment—posted a video of herself and the couple on a walk in December, which Rhi later shared to her own Instagram Story.
Soft launching on Insta…
Rhi and Jeff haven’t been shy with the posting.
A week after filming MAFS 2025 wrapped, Jeff and Rhi appeared to jet off on a romantic holiday to Sorrento, Victoria, around December 5—as per their Instagram stories where they posted a bunch of near-identical pics hinting that they were together.
They even went as far as copying each others captions, posting the hotel pool, both with the caption “Not Bali”.
Rhi also shared a photo where Jeff’s leg was visible and another where his watch and hand were also in the frame—way to soft launch after being on National TV.

We think this is all the confirmation we need…
With all of the sightings, Insta posts and source quotes in mind, it’s (kinda) official that Rhi and Jeff made it after MAFS. Will they follow in Martha and Michael’s footsteps and give us the most adorable post-experiment content ever?
