Married at First Sight Australia 2025 may be over but the goss just keeps on coming.
If your TikTok hasn’t been flooded with what appears to be yet another couple swap from the show’s most recent season, allow us to fill you in.
Fans have been speculating on the relationship status of contestants Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan, who both starred in MAFS 2025. Jamie was “married” to Dave Hand and Eliot to Lauren Hall, then (after exiting and re-entering the experiment), Veronica Cloherty. Now, it seems they could be the stars of their own unexpected love story.
An anonymous MAFS contestant told Woman’s Day that Jamie and Eliot have grown from “mates to full couple mode.”
It was believed that Jamie was “supposed to stay in separate accommodation on the Gold Coast” while visiting, according to the anonymous source, but Jamie allegedly, “Cancelled those plans to spend the week with Eliot instead.”
Rumours Jamie and Eliot had coupled up first sparked shortly after the MAFS 2025 finale aired early April. Since then, the pair have been spotted together more than once! After the reunion episode, Jamie and Eliot both posted a TikTok in which they are seen sharing coconut water in bed, and since then it’s been video after video.

What Happened to Jamie & Dave on MAFS?
At the beginning of the season, Jamie had been coupled with Dave — a pairing the audience believed to be a sure success story. However, after Jamie confessed her feelings of love to Dave, he detached himself from the relationship. Dave was called out by his co-stars and experts (of course), and the pair worked really hard on their relationship, ultimately committing to each other at the Final Vows.
Fast forward, and at the reunion it was clear they had broken up ….. Enter Eliot?
So, Are Jamie & Eliot Together?
Jamie and Eliot certainly wouldn’t be the first re-coupled pairing from MAFS 2025 (Clint Rice and Jacquie Burfoot are literally already engaged), but neither party has confirmed whether or not they are actually in a relationship.
The same anonymous source told Women’s Day that this new couple is more than “just a fling, and very much in it for real.” They even compared Jamie and Eliot to iconic ex-MAFS stars “Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant!”
The pair haven’t confirmed anything themselves, though. If there is anything we know, it’s that we love a happy ending amongst the MAFS couples (even if it wasn’t the ones the experts had planned).
