If you’re an avid fan of Married at First Sight Australia like us, you know Adrian and Sierra kinda played a number on their on-screen partners, Billy and Awhina this season. With that in mind, when the two scorned lovers were recently spotted together, we can’t say we were mad about it.
Paparazzi recently snapped the two Perth-based reality stars walking along the beach hand in hand before cuddling up on the grass, watching the sunset with ice cream. Billy was also pictured giving Awhina a bouquet of roses on V-Day—so Adrian and his singular rose can (respectfully) leave.
Oh, and there’s more… Billy was photographed at Awhina and her twin sister’s birthday party last week—and from what we can gather from the photos, he was her only fellow MAFS star in attendance.
This all comes after Billy and his “wife” Sierah Swepstone voted to leave in last week’s commitment ceremony, amid the “cheating” scandal that saw Sierah, and Awhina’s husband Adrian, secretly meeting up behind their partners’ backs.
While the scandal left Awhina and Adrian’s relationship a bit rocky, they’re still together on the show. However, if these photos confirm anything, its that they won’t be together for long.
Let’s not forget that Billy wasn’t totally innocent either. The cheeky British-born heartthrob received some (short-lived) hate from the experts on his last night on the show—and some gasps from the other couples (as if they can really judge him)—after it was revealed he had asked Adrian if he wanted to do a “wife swap”. Billy assured that his comment was unserious and out of anger. After seeing these pictures, it appears he may have got what he wished for. That’s a prime example of manifestation, ladies.
When Woman’s Day spoke to Awhina earlier this month, she told them, “Billy would be a great catch for anyone,” continuing, “His future wife would be a very lucky lady.”
Then she said they’re just friends… We call cap.
Someone who saw the pair on the beach told Woman’s Day, “They looked really happy and comfortable.” Another added, “Their chemistry was insane.”
We totally agree.
