Married At First Sight Australia (MAFS) 2025 is in full swing, and we have just encountered our first “cheating scandal” of the season.

Sierah Swepstone and Adrian Araouzou raised eyebrows following a brief but flirty exchange below the table (it’s not quite what it sounds like) at the dinner party last week, as well as a slightly awks admission at the proceeding commitment ceremony.

What Happened Between Sierah and Adrian on MAFS?

At the latest dinner party, the trouble-seeking cameras picked up on a super subtle interaction between Sierah and Adrian. It appeared that the pair, who were sat next to one another at the table, were caressing their feet against one another. Speaking to 9Entertainment, Adrian disregarded the footsie scandal, saying, “If touching feet is cheating then I definitely would have cheated on Awhina [Rutene] with Ryan [Donnelly], Jacqui [Burfoot], Jeff [Gobbels] and Rhi [Disljenkovic] because they were sitting across from me—and Tony [Mojanovski] at one point.”

“If you’re sitting at a table and you stretch your legs you end up accidentally touching people’s feet. For me watching that back, I was so unaware that her feet even bumped my feet,” he added.

However, viewers around the country raised eyebrows again at the following commitment ceremony, when Sierah admitted that she had opened up to Adrian about an undisclosed event that happened in her past. Her revelation made for an uncomfortable moment on the couch, given her “husband,” Billy Belcher had been trying to get her to ~get deep~ for weeks.

Adrian & Sierah Insider Goss

Beyond the TV screen, rumours of a cheating scandal had been running rampant ahead of the commitment ceremony.

DailyMail  reports that show insiders claim “the pair formed an, ‘unexpected bond’ after a night out during their first weekend in Sydney.” The report adds: “Sierah and Adrian ended up back at her apartment, where they stayed up late getting to know each other… days later, they reunited for an intimate dinner date—one that was concealed from both Billy and Awhina.”

An additional MAFS cast member previously spilled some beans to the publication, disclosing that Billy found at a commitment ceremony that Sierah had been more vulnerable and open with Adrian than him (which we saw play out on-screen last night). “Sierah wouldn’t open up to him, but she did with Adrian. And he only found out in front of the rest of us. It was so embarrassing. I felt terrible for him,” they said.

Billy himself has also spoken up about the drama. Talking to TV WEEK, Billy stated  “I had no idea that happened, I did, however, know there was something going on between them. Awhina and I weren’t happy. We signed up to be with our partners and when we watched them getting closer, it wasn’t nice. It was very difficult to watch. I felt a bit sad.”
