Robert has just gone on record with People in April 2025 to confirm that he is currently flying solo, and open to finding a special someone.

“I’m single. It’s funny, I’m at this point in my life where I’m like, I’m so open to that, but I’m just waiting for the stars to align,” he revealed. “Interestingly, my parents, my sister Bindi met her husband [Chandler Powell]. Everyone met here at our wildlife sanctuary,” he continued.

“I look at the couple goals in my life. I look at when my brother-in-law Chandler and my sister Bindi met, it was just meant to be, and when my mum and dad met, it was this crazy serendipitous, amazing moment that just was a fluke… in both instances, they were American tourists that were coming over and visiting the zoo, so I’m waiting. I’m waiting for that American tourist to come into the zoo and for it all to happen!”

So, with all that enthusiasm, do we think he’s been on the market for long? It’s hard to say, but speculation swirled only a month ago that the Aussie hunk may have been in the early days of a blossoming relationship.

A source shared with Woman’s Day earlier this year: “The whispers at the Australia Zoo is that Robert has been seeing a new love interest since around November.” They source predicted he would, “be planning on hard-launching this relationship in the next few weeks prior to I’m a Celebrity,” — although, that never happened…

Rob himself hasn’t broached the rumours, but talk of a potential relationship hit our ears just over six months since he was last linked to fellow Australia Zoo staff member Charlotte Briggs.

While this duo didn’t ever confirm nor deny their romance, photographs obtained by the Daily Mail in July 2024 displayed the pair walking through Sydney Airport alongside Robert’s mother Terri before being photographed later in their hotel lobby sharing a flirty exchange.

Prior, the 21-year-old was most recently loved up with the niece of the late actor, Heath Ledger — Rorie Buckey.
