After a quick ascension into fame thanks to his Disney Channel teen stardom, Ross Lynch has recently caught the public eye again—and not just for his talent. The former Teen Beach Movie actor is fast becoming one of young Hollywood’s favourite heartthrobs.
Off the back of his critically acclaimed performance as Jeffrey Dahmer in the 2017 thriller film My Friend Dahmer, the former Disney darling began to transition away from the bubbly world of pre-teen television and broke into a darker realm, joining the cast of the Netflix teen-thriller series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Along with the show’s success came an initially successful off-screen romance with his costar at the time, Jaz Sinclair… but are the pair still an item?

Does Ross Lunch Have a Girlfriend?
Ahh yes, the million-dollar question. Well, just over one year after speculation first swirled that Ross had separated from his Sabrina co-star, fans later realised that the singer had already suuuper softly-launched his new lady.
During a NOVA radio interview in January 2025, Ross told host Smallzy that his love life wasn’t completely inactive; however, it was very early days.
“[The Driver Era song] The Same Old Story is kind of based around—it’s like really recent, like maybe. I’m talking like a month ago. It’s about this experience I’ve been having recently with this girl.” After the host pointed out that Ross had previously denied any allegations that he was seeing anyone, the singer responded: “That was before this. Things happen fast. You’ll see posts from six months ago, but that’s six months ago.”
While he refrained from revealing who this mystery girl was, in early September 2024, Ross shared a TikTok of him on a night out with mates, watching a girl dance at a party. Fans were quick to comment on the video with statements like: “Hard launch at 1 am is crazy,” and “Who is that for real?” Ross didn’t respond to any fan questions, and the only comment he made on the video was the caption, “Life’s pretty good ain’t it?” which doesn’t exactly spell out much for us.

Who Has Ross Dated Previously?
Jaz Sinclair: 2020 - 2023
Speculation these two were dating began shortly after Ross and Jaz met on the set of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Despite taking their time going public with their relationship, fans were pretty convinced the two were romantically involved after the actors sister, Rydel Lynch, posted a Snapchat of Ross and Jaz sharing a smooch on New Year’s Eve in 2019. After being asked about the nature of his relationship with Jaz by Entertainment Tonight later that month, Lynch insisted that Sinclair was just his “closest friend.”
A few months later, Ross addressed the online hate about his and Jazs’ relationship via Instagram in April 2020. “Yo guys whoever is being hateful to jasmine and I’s relationship (especially on a race basis wtf) can take a step back,” he wrote. “We are both extremely happy.”
Rumours were sparked about a possible breakup in late 2023 when a fan shared a video of Lynch commenting on experiencing heartbreak during one of his live shows with his band The Driver Era. “I didn’t know it could get worse though, you know? The thing about heartbreak is . . . the only thing that really helps is music,” he said. Neither star has officially addressed split rumours but they haven’t been pictured together since 2023.
Courtney Eaton: 2015 - 2017
Ross became Instagram-official with Yellowjackets starlet Courtney Eaton in September 2015. As the first time he officially went public with any of his relationships, many thought the pairing was promising. The duo reportedly met whilst filming Status Update together. In a November 2017 interview with W, Courtney was described as Lynch’s “then-girlfriend.”
Morgan Larson: 2013
Ross was first introduced to dancer Morgan Larson during the filming of Disney’s Teen Beach Movie in 2012. It’s never been confirmed that the couple dated, but in an April 2019 interview with Cosmopolitan, Ross spoke about an apparent “love triangle” that he’d been a part of on the set of the Disney film.
Conveniently leaving out any names, Ross went on to share: “I was 16 at the time of the first movie, but it was basically a bunch of high school students or college students.” He elaborated, “And they just put us on an island in the Caribbean for two months.”
A cute Instagram post that Ross shared in July 2013 with Morgan on set led fans to believe he and the backup dancer were involved, but a romance was never confirmed by either party.
