Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are as loved-up as ever—and over a year since they were first linked, the pair have confirmed they are engaged!
Selena*officially* announced the sweet news on December 12, sharing a carousel of pics of a sparkler on her ring finger to Instagram.
Rumours the pair were due to get hitched have been circling since August 5, when an anonymous tipster told Deuxmoi that an “a list actress/semi-retired singer” had “got engaged over the weekend to her bf of a year.” While Selena wasn’t named in the blind item, the shoe sure fit.
Then, on August 8, Gomez posted an Instagram Story which featured two pink heart emojis placed over her left hand—obscuring her ring finger (and anything that may or may not be on it).
Then, on August 29, Selena added fuel to an already-crackling fire when she was photographed out for a walk—sporting a sizeable gold band on her ring finger.
A source told Us Weekly the month prior that the couple had “talked about marriage,” with another adding, “They both think they’ve found the person they’ll be with forever.”
Now, we *finally* have confirmation that yurp, a wedding is on the way.

In case you haven’t been keeping up, these two are basically the cutest ever, too.
Benny told Howard Stern back in mid-May that he hoped to marry Selena in the future. When asked if he saw himself proposing, Benny said, “When I look at her, I do say, I’m always just like, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’” The host asked if Benny had a ring, to which he replied, “I don’t have anything. I’ve got no shoes on. I’ve got to get my act together.”
Guess he got his act together… Congratulations to the happy couple!
