Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are as loved-up as ever!
Just over a year since they were first linked, the pair have sparked engagement rumours over the past month thanks to a series of cryptic posts.
On August 29, Selena added fuel to the already-crackling fire when she was photographed out for a walk—sporting a sizeable gold band on her ring finger.
The pap shot comes after weeks of speculation as to the couple’s engagement status. On August 5, an anonymous tipster told Deuxmoi that an “a list actress/semi-retired singer” had “got engaged over the weekend to her bf of a year.” While Selena wasn’t named in the blind item, the shoe sure fits.
Then, on August 8, Gomez posted an Instagram Story which featured two pink heart emojis placed over her left hand—obscuring her ring finger (and anything that may or may not be on it).
A source told Us Weekly the month prior that the couple had “talked about marriage,” with another adding, “They both think they’ve found the person they’ll be with forever.”

What Have Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Said About Engagement Rumours?
For the most part, Selena and Benny have remained tight-lipped on reports they might be en route to the altar.
However, on June 30, Selena left a cryptic comment on a fan’s social media post. Sel stumbled across a TikTok that featured old, edited footage of her and was captioned, “I know and so do you that at the time she would never have gotten engaged to Benny, She was in her IT GIRL era.”
The singer clapped back in the comments, writing, “Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol.”
Sooo… she didn’t deny the engagement part. Cool
Benny also told Howard Stern in mid-May that he hoped to marry Selena in the future. When asked if he saw himself proposing, Benny said, “When I look at her, I do say, I’m always just like, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’” The host asked if Benny had a ring, to which he replied, “I don’t have anything. I’ve got no shoes on. I’ve got to get my act together.”
With all that being said, at the time of writing, neither Selena nor Benny have confirmed whether or not they are engaged.
