Reneé Rapp is one of Hollywood’s most recognisable rising stars. The 24-year-old’s profile went stratospheric thanks to a star-making turn as Regina George, in the film adaption of the Mean Girls broadway musical (yes, it’s a mouthful) earlier this year.
The film was certainly not Reneé’s first time centre-stage. Not only had she actually played Regina in the Broadway version of the story but, prior to its premiere, she been making music for some time. Reneé released her debut album, Snow Angel, in 2023 and embarked on the Snow Hard Feelings Tour last September.
It was on this tour that she may have grown close to her rumoured girlfriend—British musician, Towa Bird.
While relationship rumours had surrounded Reneé and Towa for some time, fans didn’t get a clear sign the relationship may be real until March 2024, when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party together. Months on and both parties are yet to *officially* confirm if they’re together or not. However, they’ve since been spotted getting cosy, attended several events together and posted some cutesy Instagram Stories of each other—which is basically a soft launch in celeb world.

Who Is Towa Bird?
Towa Bird is a musician who was born in China to British and Filipino parents. The 24-year-old briefly lived in Thailand before moving to the UK to study at London’s Goldsmiths’ College. However, she ended up dropping out of Uni to pursue a music career—and good thing she did!
Towa’s career started on TikTok, when she went viral after posting singing videos and covers to the app during the pandemic.
Through this, she caught the eye of a little-known artist called Olivia Rodrigo, who asked Towa to be a part of her 2022 documentary, Driving Home 2 U (A Sour Film).
She was then signed to Olivia’s label, Interscope Records—which also happens to be the same label as one Renée Rapp!
Towa’s career is also on the rise—and rapidly. She released her own debut album, American Hero, back in June and has since played several festivals, including All Points East and Rock en Seine,
How Did Reneé Rapp & Towa Bird Meet?
While it’s not entirely clear when or how Reneé and Towa met, they are both signed to the same label, Interscope Records.
Towa was the opening act for Reneé’s recent tour from September 2023 to March 2024—but they knew each other before this. The rumoured couple were photographed together at Interscope’s Coachella Party in April 2023.
