Aussie celebs have long been a rare breed but thanks to the internet, they’re increasingly common — even if their claim to fame is not-so traditional.
Take Anna Paul, for example: you either know exactly who she is or barely anything at all. With a whopping 6.2 million followers on TikTok, 2.1 million Instagram followers, and an increasingly popular OnlyFans page, the fun-loving influencer has quickly become one of our country’s most popular online faces.
The content creator’s name went mainstream earlier this year, however, following a public back-and-forth with her former friend and fellow content creator Mikaela Testa, who also happens to be the ex-partner of her brother. Atis Paul. The controversy began when Mikaela levelled a series of accusations at both Anna and Atis on social media. Mikaela’s allegations included a claim that Anna exploits her young fans for money via cash giveaways, and that she lied about her family’s socio-economic status.
Atis and Anna have both responded to the allegations in various posts of their own. Anna has lost hundreds of thousands of followers since Mikaela’s first post.

Who Is Anna Paul & What Does She Do?
Anna Paul is a 25-year-old Australian influencer and OnlyFans creator of Turkish and German descent, who was born and raised in Queensland.
In 2018, when Anna was just 19, her TikTok account started to grow in popularity. As she explained to news.com.au, it was a viral video of the laundry chute in her bedroom that allowed her to start gaining traction on the globally adored platform. “It was weird, but that’s when I was like, ‘Oh wow, this could be something’…Even though it was only one little viral video I thought, wow this is a new way to get noticed.” Anna shared.
In 2023, she channelled her newfound following into a passion project that stemmed from her childhood struggles with acne. Anna dropped her skincare line, Paullie, which quickly accumulated a six-figure waiting list upon initial announcement. Today, the brand has fans world-wide — Kim Kardashian has even shouted out Paullie’s toothpaste on her Instagram Story.
How Did Anna Paul Become Famous?
Anna was super quick to the game when it came to platforms like TikTok and OnlyFans launching in Australia. She capitalised off of the two and managed to cultivate a large during the COVID pandemic, which left a lot of us homebound and relying on social media for the majority of our entertainment. Not long after joining OnlyFans, she found herself in the top 0.01 per cent of content creators on the platform.
In a TikTok video she shared with her millions of followers, Anna stated that her “official” job title is a sex worker — and delved into the specifics around her work, as well as taking her followers with her to buy certain supplies for one of her OF videos.
“I am one of the top OnlyFans creators in Australia. That’s what I do, I love it and it’s my favourite job in the world,” she said. Her fans love her candid and relaxed attitude to nudity and sex. Paul has attributed some of this to her upbringing and European ancestry. “German people, or Europeans in general, when it comes to showing skin, it’s not sexual,” she explained to InStyle. “Like, what’s sexual about boobs? They feed a child. That’s the kind of mentality I grew up with.”
Is Anna Paul Dating Anyone?
Around the same time that Anna started to gain an online following, she was in a relationship with her high school sweetheart, Glen Thompson. He assisted her with a lot of her online content and became a familiar face on her account. Anna announced on her TikTok that she and Glen had split after eight years together in 2023. Last year, she was romantically linked to a home gardener called Aymeric Urbain, but Anna has not made any further comments on this.
