Karla Sofia Gascón has taken the big screen alongside Zoe Soldana and Selena Gomez. She plays a role that’s both grounded and emotionally layered, giving a show-stopping performance worthy of an Oscar.
Mikey Madison – Anora
Who doesn’t love a queen who works her way up to the top? Mikey Madison did built her career up in short films, and now she’s a leading actress… WHAT. Her performance in Anora is so captivating that its caught the academy’s attention.
Demi Moore – The Substance
Ah, yes, she’s the star of everyone’s feed at the moment—Demi Moore. And it’s all because she’s returned to the spotlight in the new feminist horror film, The Substance. Although it was hard to watch, Demi performed the role to a tee. She proves once again why she’s one of the most respected actresses of her generation—and possible ours too, it seems.
Fernanda Torres – I'm Still Here
And finally we have the ever-so-talented Fernanda Torres. She delivers a heartbreaking and powerful performance in her new drama I’m Still Here. With a nuanced portrayal of loss and resilience, she shows her range as an actress who can tackle complex, emotional roles with ease. And at 59 years old, may we just say, she’s slaying.
