The Lazy Girl’s Guide to the Best Orange Spritz

It’s undoubtedly the drink of the summer.
Published November 8, 2024

The Mercury is rising, the seagulls are squawking and strips of sand along the country’s coastline are being peppered with beach towels. This can only mean one thing—summer is well and truly on its way.

After a few false starts and wild weather patterns, the sunshine is seemingly here to stay across much of Australia which means we can finally lean into all the best bits the silly season has to offer. Namely, alfresco drinks.Be poolside, at brunch, sunset drinks, or barbecues, there’s no summer feeling quite sipping a refreshing drink in the sunshine.

And, of course, *the* drink to reach for is a bubbly, refreshing spritz (we won’t be accepting arguments here, sorry). Spritzes have become a quintessential drink of the season, with their light fizz and flavour working hard to take the edge off a hot evening.

But when the air is thick and you just want to lounge around with a cold one, stat, the effort required to *actually* make a cocktail might put you off. Luckily, this summer, Croser has you sorted. The Australian winemakers have bottled that summer spirit, introducing Croser Orange Spritz.

The recipe blends the sophistication of Croser Non-Vintage Sparkling with Orange Bitters and citrus aromas of orange and tangerine for a zesty, effervescent taste.

It’s super simple: Just pop the bottle, pour over ice, garnish with a slice of fresh orange and enjoy. Happy summer!
