Eurovision 2025 is almost here and we can’t wait to see what the annual international singing competition has in store for us this year (hopefully a win!!!).

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will be coming to us from Switzerland after Swiss singer Nemo claimed the 2024 title, and with our SBS-elected, Perth-born performer all set to take the global stage, we promise you the early morning wake-up will be worth it.

So, who’s *actually* representing Australia? Will there be an Aussie host? When and where can we watch the comp? There are so many things to get your head around before the comp officially kicks off. We’ve answered all of your Eurovision 2025 questions below.

Who Is Representing Australia In The Eurovision Song Contest This Year?

We don’t want to jinx anything, but with homegrown stand-out Go-jo gearing up to take on the international singing comp this year, things are looking bright!

29-year-old Go-Jo, otherwise known by his given name, Marty Zambotto, is a successful pop musician hailing from Perth, WA. He first gained traction with his hit song “Mrs. Hollywood” after it went viral on TikTok in 2023.

Now, he will be representing Australian on the worldwide Eurovision circuit with his new track, “Milkshake Man.”

Who Will Host The Eurovision Broadcast In Australia?

The SBS coverage of Eurovision 2025 will be hosted by two epic Australian media personalities, Tony Armstrong and Courtney Act. We’re looking forward to the much-needed energy these two will bring to the early morning live coverage!

When Is Eurovision 2025?

Eurovision 2025 is set to commence with the first round of semi-finals on Tuesday, May 13 (CEST), with coverage streaming in from Basel, Switzerland.

If you’re waiting to get in on the action from Down Under, the time to tune in will be Wednesday, May 14, at 5:00am (AEST). The second semi-final will be on Friday, May 16, at 5:00am (AEST), followed by the grand final on Sunday, May 18, at 5:00am (AEST).

Where To Watch Eurovision In Australia?

Luckily, SBS and SBS On Demand are all over it.

They will be broadcasting the competition live and free this year, with an on-demand option also available if the 5 am wake-up time doesn’t sound super appealing. SBS will also be broadcasting coverage of an exclusive Access All Areas pre-performance lead-up from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 at 7:30 pm AEST.
