Rumours MAFS is on the rocks seem to have sprouted from private Facebook groups designed specifically for fans to discuss the show. On several of these forums, some viewers vocalised their disappointment in this season’s contestants.
“Yes [it should be cancelled], or go back to what the show should actually be about. Couples looking for love rather than looking for fame,” one fan commented.

Channel Nine is already casting for MAFS Season 13, which will be filmed this year and premiere in 2026.
“Married At First Sight is back in 2026 and is currently on the search for participants of all ages and backgrounds who are genuinely committed to finding love,” the call-out explained.
