Festival fans, it’s time to celebrate, because Laneway festival is coming back… and just in time for Brat summer (wink, wink).
Last month, the famous annual event confirmed it would be returning in 2025, easing the fears of fans following a devastating year for the nation’s festival industry. Then, last Wednesday, organisers further shared details of pricing, dates and venues (which you can find below). Finally, this morning—after much speculation—the lineup dropped and boy, is it a big one.

Laneway 2025 Lineup
Laneway 2025 will be headlined by Charli XCX, Clairo and Beabadoobee.
The touring event will also feature performances from Bicep, Barry Can’t Swim, Olivia Dean, Remi Wolf, Skeggs, Rona and more—with more to be announced. Check out the full lineup below.
Speculation Charli XCX would be performing has been swirling for a week, having started when fans noticed an apple featured in the Laneway 2025 logo. The British star’s latest album, brat, features a TikTok-viral track called ‘Apple’. However, that wasn’t the only indicator the singer could be headed Down Under.
The same morning, Triple J shared an Instagram reel which heroed a plain, chartreuse (aka brat green) billboard. The bile-coloured board had ‘laneway’ written on it in black, lowercase letters, stylised in the same way as the promotional posters for Charli’s album.
When Is Laneway 2025?
Laneway 2025 will kick off in New Zealand before heading up to Aus, and touring the country over two weekends. The dates and venues are as follows:
- Auckland on Thursday, February 6 at Western Springs
- Brisbane on Saturday, February 8 at Brisbane Showgrounds
- Sydney on Sunday, February 9 at the Sydney Showground
- Melbourne on Friday, February 14 at Flemington Park
- Adelaide on Saturday, February 15 at Bonython Park
- Perth on Sunday, Febraury 16 at Wellington Square
Laneway 2025 Tickets
Laneway 2025 is sure to be big and tickets will undoubtedly be hot property. Secure your spot in the pre-sale, which is presented by Afterpay and kicks off at 10am local time on Tuesday, October 15. This sale will only be live for 23 hours. Sign up here.
The date and time of a proceeding general sale is yet to be announced.
Laneway Ticket Price
Organisers have already released ticket pricing for Laneway 2025.
Prices are the same for all venues and increase with each ticket release and are not inclusive of fees:
- Pre-sale: $189.90
- Second release: $204.90
- Third release: $219.90
- Fourth (and final) release: $229.90
First release VIP Tickets are $289.90.
Is Laneway 18+?
Laneway is a 16+ event.
However, 16 and 17-year-olds have to purchase a special under-18s ticket. They will also still need to bring a valid form of identification.
