Apple TV+ has just announced that the two immensely talented actors will be uniting for an epic performance as swindling spouses in their new limited series, Lucky.
If we weren’t excited enough, ATJ won’t only be starring in the series, but is also executive producing alongside Reese Witherspoon and Jonathan Tropper’s production company, Hello Sunshine.

What Is Lucky About?
Lucky is based on Marissa Stapley’s 2021 bestselling novel of the same name.
American publishing house Simon & Schuster describe’s the book as, “a thrilling roller-coaster ride about a heist gone terribly wrong, with a plucky protagonist who will win readers’ hearts.”
The tale goes: Con-artist Lucky Armstrong perfectly executes a seven-figure heist with her scammer boyfriend, Cary, by her side. Just as things are looking sunny, everything goes sour, and she’s left stranded “navigating the world without the help of either her father or her boyfriend” and with a new identity. As an intentional nod to her name, Lucky buys a lottery ticket that ends up being worth millions, but as a notorious fugitive, getting her hands on the cash is no simple feat.
Apple TV+’s official logline states that Lucky will see Anya Taylor-Joy “as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.”
The Lucky Cast
Lucky stars Hollywood darling, Anya Taylor-Joy in the highly anticipated role of Lucky, with Outer Banks heartthrob Drew Starkey being locked in to portray Cary, Lucky’s husband.
As for the rest of the cast, actress Annette Bening will appear as Priscilla, a devious mob leader; Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor as Agent Billie Rand\; and Timothy Olyphant as Lucky’s father, John.
When Will Lucky Be Available To Stream?
Unfortunatley, Apple TV+ is yet to announce an official release date for Lucky. However, we will be closely watching this one, so check back here for updates!
