As the strangers navigated emotional breakthroughs, romantic entanglements, and life-altering truths, Tranquillum House became the perfect place for the type of drama we love to watch.
Season 1 definitely left us on the edge of our seats after we bore witness to Masha’s unconventional methods, combined with some serious emotional baggage from the strangers. Now, with a fresh batch of characters and a new set of challenges — oh, and a new location far from Byron Bay — Season 2 promises us more (dramatised) insight into the human psyche.

What Is Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 About?
The eight-episode second season has a completely different look, moving from a sunny resort to a snowy, luxurious chalet in the Austrian Alps.
Nine new strangers are set to connect in ways they could never imagine after they’re invited by Masha to join in a transformational wellness retreat. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the very brink as she tries to heal everyone involve, per the logline.
Nicole told Vanity Fair, “You put them in the snow because it’s almost like you can’t escape, but it’s still very beautiful,”
“It’s not sort of that grey, cold, bleak environment. It’s still very alluring.”
Despite being set in Austria, Nine Perfect Strangers filmed in Munich, Germany, for six months during the first half of 2024.
When Will Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 Come Out?
Good news ladies, it’s coming sooner than you think… no literally, it’s premiering next month.
Season 2 will officially debut with two episodes, launching in the US on May 21 on Hulu and internationally on May 22 via Prime Video.
New episodes will then drop weekly every Wednesday.
