Reputation Taylor’s Version arriving in 2024 may be more than just a pipe dream!

The 2017 album is the sixth and final of Taylor’s to be re-recorded—and fans are convinced its release is imminent. Why? Her recent fashion choices!

On September 12, Taylor attended the VMAs in a *very* Reputation-coded ‘fit. The look was comprised of a punkish, yellow plaid ensemble, styled with wrapped leather gloves and thigh-high, black patent boots.

The VMAs red carpet comes a week after the singer attended one of boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s football games wearing a pair of red, thigh-high boots. The shoes are a dead ringer for the pair Taylor wore in the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ music video.

Before you say we’re jumping to conclusions, hear us out. Any Swiftie knows that Taylor loves an Easter Egg and the singer has long hinted at upcoming projects through her clothing.

Fans were last duped at the 2024 Grammys (where she won Album of the Year for Midnights, BTW) when Taylor rocked up wearing a watch as a necklace. Swifties were convinced she was going to announce Reputation TV that night. However, she one-upped herself by announcing a whole new album, The Tortured Poets Department, instead.

Taylor has also teased two songs from the album. ‘Delicate (Taylor’s Version)’ appeared in Season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty last year and ‘Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)’ featured in a teaser trailer for Prime Video’s new drama, Wilderness in late August.

There’s lots going on! Scroll on for everything we know about Reputation TV so far.

What Has Taylor Swift Said About Reputation Taylor's Version?

Sooo Taylor hasn’t confirmed that Reputation TV is due for release but she *has* previously noted creating it was on her to-do list.

During her TIME Person of the Year interview, she told the magazine that Reputation Taylor’s Version would be “fire,” describing it as “a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure.” Taylor added, “I think a lot of people see it and they’re just like, sick snakes and strobe lights.”

Will Reputation TV Have Vault Tracks?

In addition to re-recordings of her albums’ original songs, the Taylor’s Version records thus far have all featured tracks “from the vault.” These are songs that were written for but ultimately left off the respective original album.

For Reputation, there’s no word as to what these songs could be. Fans have posited theories that her own version of  ‘This Is What You Came For’ could feature. We’ll have to wait and see!
