WARNING: Severance spoilers ahead.
Good News! After a thrilling Season 2 finale and plenty of mind-boggling drama, it has been confirmed that Severance will be back with a more explosive storyline in Season 3!
Having followed the stories of a select group of employees at Lumon Industries undergoing brain-splitting procedures for two chapters thus far, we’re excited to what creator Dan Erickson and director/executive producer Ben Stiller have in store for our innies and outies in S3! Scroll of what we already know about the next instalment.

Is Severance S3 Confirmed?
Rejoice! The news of the show’s renewal came via X, after director and executive producer Ben Stiller shared a post directed toward the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, blatantly asking if Severance could be renewed for another season.
Tim delightfully responded with “Season three of Severance is available upon request”, clarifying that the series has been given the go-ahead for another season.
Who Is In the Cast of Severance Season 3?
We can assume things are looking good on this front, as the exact cast has not been announced — however, with no previous deaths occurring to beloved characters: Mark. S (Adam Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), Dylan (Zach Cherry), Irving (John Turturro), Mr Milchick (Tramell Tillman), and Ms Cobel (Patricia Arquette), it’s more than likely they will be making a return for the show’s continuation into season 3!

Severance Season 3 Release Date
Ben has jumped on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Taylor Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason, to assure us that we won’t have to endure another three-year waiting stint like we did previously between the finale of season 1 and the release of season 2.
When asked if season 3 will follow the same timeframe, Ben quickly put fans at ease replying: “No, no, the plan is not — definitely not,…We’ll be announcing what the plan is very soon. That will not be that.”
Although we don’t have a definitive date *just* yet, both previous seasons have dropped in the earlier months of our calendars, so we assume season 3 could arrive around January or February. And, based on Ben’s enthusiasm that the new season’s production schedule won’t drag on for another three years, we’re hedging out bets on a premiere date in early 2026 (fingers crossed!!!)
Will Season 3 Be The Last Season of Severance?
Ah yes, the dreaded question…
While we can speak on behalf of the entire fan base in saying that no one wants the show to end, there have been a couple of nods to the reality that season 3 may the the series’ final run.
From a purely speculative point-of-view, first things first: the show’s end game so far has been to help Ms Casey free herself of Lumon, and we’ve now seen Mark S succeed in this.
However, we had also been steered towards the direction of a potential innies’ uprising against Lumon, and who knows how long that could take!

Where Can I Watch Severance In Australia?
