What Has Been Said Perviously?
In February, Juno Temple (who plays Keeley Jones in the Emmy-winning series), told Entertainment Weekly: “I’ve heard the kind of stunt version of, yeah, potentially, it sounds like there might be a season 4.”
She added: “I don’t know when. I don’t know exactly who, what, why, where, but I think it sounds like those cogs are turning.”
Despite the good news, producers reportedly still had a few hurdles to jump before they were able to move forward with production on a fourth season.
Deadline reported in August 2024 that the studio had moved to reacquire the three aforementioned actors—Waddingham, Goldstein and Swift—all of whom are contracted under the UK acting union Equity. However, more recent reports say the actors who belong to the USA-based SAG-AFTRA union are yet to sign on. This includes lead Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and, notably, Temple.
Additionally, Warner Bros. TV boss Channing Dungey *did* spill a little in an interview in October 2024. He told Variety: “We are in conversations about season four, and they are very exciting conversations, but it’s still early days.”
So, Has A Fourth Season of Ted Lasso Been Confrimed?
Just under a year after we last saw coach Lasso in all of his glory, we have finally received an answer about the fate of a fourth season. Long story short—Ted’s back, baby!!!
Apple TV+ has officially confirmed that Ted Lasso will be back on the pitch for game four.
The season 4 team will reassemble, with funny man, Jason Sudeikis reprising his beloved role as Coach Ted Lasso.
Sudeikis has stated: “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,… In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”

Where To Watch Ted Lasso
Deadline reports the studio hopes to begin production on Ted Lasso Season 4 in early 2025. This means it likely wouldn’t hit screens until early 2026, at the earliest.
So that means there is *plenty* of time to re-watch Seasons 1-3 of the hit show.
You can stream Ted Lasso on-demand on Apple TV+.
