There will be more seasons for The Four Seasons!
Despite initially being announced as a limited (aka single-season) series, Netflix has confirmed the Tina Fey-helmed show will return for another run.
The mid-life comedy series was a quick hit upon its May 1 debut, jumping to the top spot on the streamer’s most-watched list. It only took two weeks for Netflix to confirm that it had decided to renew The Four Seasons, teasing the news on Instagram by asking fans, “who’s ready for another vacation?”
Starring Tina Fey, Will Forte, Steve Carell, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Colman Domingo) and Marco Calvani, it was never not going to be a hit — and we can’t wait to see more of them (hopefully!).

What Is The Four Seasons About?
The Four Seasons is actually an adaptation of Alan Alda’s 1981 big-screen romantic comedy of the same name.
The series follows six old friends (three sets of couples), who go on a weekend away together. During the trip, one of the couples reveals they’re on the verge of splitting up.
The show explores the tropes of middle age — affairs, mid-life crises, navigating friendship — through a lens that is both comedic and heartwarming (and, at times, heartbreaking).
Of the show, Fey told Tudum: “[Fellow writer-producers, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield] and I have talked about the show being a love letter to long-term relationships, both platonic and romantic. Because your life is ideally more than just the person you’re married to.
“Sometimes when you are struggling with something with just your spouse, you need a group of friends to bring humor to it. Those friendships really help marriages, I think. Having a person who just fulfills a part of you that your spouse can’t quite [fulfill] is very important.”
What about Season 2?

The Four Seasons first season concluded with the death of Nick and the revelation that his girlfriend, Ginny, is pregnant with his child.
It’s not clear whether Season 2 will continue the story of the first season, or whether The Four Seasons will become an anthology where a new cast and storyline is introduced each season.
