We’re already hoping to check back into the White Lotus…
Season 3 of HBO’s series has just aired, and naturally, we’re already wanting more. After the show’s first two seasons collected an impressive 15 Emmys, we weren’t surprised that The White Lotus Season 4 was confirmed before Season 3 even hit our screens! While all our when and where questions are yet to be answered, we have a couple of sneaking suspicions about the show’s future—read on the tea!
When Will The White Lotus S4 Air?
We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but a new season of The White Lotus won’t be coming to the streaming giant for quite some time.
When looking at the show’s previous production timeline, fans had to sit pretty for over two years between Season 2 and Season 3’s air dates. So, if the past is any indicator of future timeframe trajectory, fans going to be waiting a while for a new season.
No announcements have been made yet, so we can only guess that Season 4 will probably commence production in 2026. With this in mind, it’s looking more likely that will get the fourth instalment around early 2027, or potentially late 2026 if we’re lucky!
Where Is Season 4 Taking Place?
We know a Season 4 location hasn’t been nailed down yet, however, a source told Parade in February 2025 that producers are actively searching for the next destination.
The source shared: “Right now, it’s looking like the next season of The White Lotus will be shot in Egypt or Mexico… they want to pick somewhere they haven’t shot yet, so a new continent. They want to go somewhere completely new since this season is in Asia, which is why they’re between the two. The decision should be made soon.”
Apart from this, the good people at HBO are incredibly tight-lipped about the future of the series, so Season 4 details are scarce ATM.
