The White Lotus is back for Season 3 and this time, we’re tuning in to watch a bunch of rich folks romp around Thailand. The arrival of the Koh Samui-set season has brought with it yet another murder mystery for us to try and solve.
The season premiere teased at least one death, with the potential for more characters to be killed off. Naturally, that can only mean one thing: it’s time to start working on theories about who dies in The White Lotus season 3.
Yes, okay, it is admittedly really early in the season… but that doesn’t mean we know *nothing.* The first episode opened with what seemed to be a shooting breaking out in The White Lotus hotel. The only characters we know have been spared (so far) are Belinda’s son Zion and Amrita, a hotel worker guiding him in meditation at the time of the event.
Worried about his mother, Zion heads towards the noise and finds himself in a pool of water as an unidentified body floats past. We cannot discern which character it is who has died, but that isn’t about to stop us from diving into all the theories floating around online.

Who Is Going to Die In The White Lotus Season 3?
Sooo we won’t know for sure for a little while, but there are plenty of compelling theories about who could be killed off in this season of the hit show.
Scroll on for the ones that have the most weight to them.
Greg

Ugh Greg is the worst! Even if he isn’t killed off, he kind of deserves to be in our opinion—given he had Tanya murdered in Season 2 and all.
Firstly, netizens have raised the fact that him being a recurring character is suss. Surely producers can’t want to keep him around for too many more seasons, right? Maybe it’s too obvious but hey, a girl can hope.
Belinda

Sure, she’s beloved (arguably, that would give creator Mike White more motive), but Belinda is also a recurring character so the amount of time she has left in The White Lotus-omniverse is hazy.
The inclusion of her son—and his panic—in the opening episode is a little fishy, too.
Plus, in a promo for the season, Belinda is seen asking whether or not she should call the police. This could mean she stumbles over something dangerous, potentially leading to someone wanting to kill her as a cover-up.
Chelsea

The reason Chelsea might die is simply because she is sweet and naive… a bad combination when it comes to surviving The White Lotus, if previous seasons tell us anything.
Plus, her boyfriend, Rick is high-key bad vibes.
Sritala

Broody Rick has a weird obsession Sritala and her husband. That could turn violent at any moment—and according to this promo for the season, Rick’s got a gun.
Timothy

Honestly, all the Ratliffs are annoying enough to potentially wind up being killed, and unhinged enough to prospectively be the killer.
Based on promos, however, it seems patriarch Timothy is headed toward a fall from grace (read: the loss of his fortune). We get a sense a man like Timothy won’t take too kindly to that—or go down without a fight.
Victoria

It’s no secret that Victoria’s whole family seem to hate her. Plus, her husband is *clearly* going through it… do we sense a murder-suicide could be on the horizon?
Gaitok

He works in security so Gaitok’s chances of being confronted with a gun are already higher than everyone elses.
Plus, his budding relationship with hotel worker Mook is really cute and so naturally, show creators will likely throw a spanner in the works to ruin that ship for us.
