Yellowjackets has recently made its return with a nail-biting third season, and things are already looking up regarding a possible fourth instalment!
Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the hit series closely follows a high school girls’ soccer team whose plane crashes in the wilderness of Canada in 1996, and explores some pretty gripping mysteries and dark storylines. Now, the fate of a fourth season lies with the producers, and a little birdy has just shared some insight around the show’s future. Read on for all the deets.

Is Yellowjackets Season 4 Confirmed?
Sadly, Showtime Network hasn’t confirmed whether they have made a decision about the future ofthe show.
However, there is no need to worry just yet — given that season 3 only just aired, it’s very normal for there to be a bit of time between season releases and renewal announcements.
After a substantial wait between seasons 2 and 3, the anticipation for the latest lot alone is a pretty good indicator that a round 4 in on the horizon.
Based purely on the storyline so far, our assumption is that Yellowjackets definitely has more to unravel before the network calls it quits. So now, sadly, all we can do is wait.
Who Will Be In The Cast of Yellowjackets Season 4?
With death after death proving incredibly imminent throughout the series, it’s hard to say who will live to see another day in Yellowjackets Season 4. What Has The Cast Of Yellowjackets Said?
Speaking to The Direct about Yellowjackets Season 3, Sophie Nélisse (who plays teen Shauna in the show) shared her positive insight around the likelihood of a renewal on the cards.
Sophie said, “I haven’t heard anything, but I think it would be crazy if we didn’t get one. Maybe I’m just being delusional…I mean, the finale of Season 3 is so strong and so powerful and leaves you on such a cliffhanger that there’s no way, in my mind, we’re not being renewed.”
Series creators have also previously stated that a Yellowjackets season 4 was always something they had in their plans, but the fate of the series ultimately lies in Paramount’s hands.

Where Can I Watch Yellowjackets In Australia?
Paramount+ is the exclusive streaming platform for Yellowjackets Seasons 2 and 3 in Australia, though Season 1 was recently added to Netflix.
Paramount will most likely be where you can catch season 4, *if* it gets cleared. Our fingers are crossed!!!
