Fashion is firmly in its collaboration era. Where the instance of two designers joining forces was once an occasional occurrence, in 2025 it’s the move of the moment. Puma just announced its latest collaboration with Balenciaga, Haider Ackermann lent his design prowess to a collection for Canada Goose and next week, beloved Singaporean accessories label Charles & Keith is dropping its latest endeavour: a collection of covetable shoes and handbags designed in collaboration with cool girl NYC label, PH5.
For two brands firmly grounded in youth culture and experimentation, the link-up between Charles & Keith and PH5 makes perfect sense. The former, a heavyweight in the footwear and accessories category, is known for cleverly toeing the line between the classic and the playful, while the latter has experimentation and reinvention in its DNA. What better playmate for Charles & Keith’s signature brand of fun femininity, then, than PH5’s techy, poppy and slightly weird knitwear?
The collection, which launches online on July 1, has street style written all over it. Classic shoe styles are given futuristic zhuzhes — barely-there kitten heels are made complete with a knitted sole and drawstring slingback. Sporty Mary-Janes meet wavy gradient soles, chunky clogs get a psychedelic spray of pastel paint and oversized shoulder bags are finished with a knitted sash. It’s cool and strange and ridiculously fun, and isn’t that what fashion should be about anyway?
You can shop the Charles & Keith x PH5 collection on Tuesday, July 1 at charlesandkeith.com/au.
