There is perhaps no demographic more difficult to shop for than teenage girls.

Teen girls today are more tapped into the zeitgeist than ever. Thanks to TikTok, they’re not only hyper-aware of trends, but they’re consuming and even driving them. They know *exactly* what they like, and brands and specificities are important (meaning dupes generally won’t do, FYI), so taking a risk is rarely a good idea.

With that in mind, WTF do you buy a teenage girl in 2025 as a present? It’s a question we’ve grappled with ourselves, so, instead of running the risk of a polite-but-strained “thanks” next time it’s time to give a gift, we asked them.

The editors here at Cosmopolitan Australia turned to the teen girls in our lives, aged between 13 and 19, for advice and they gave us their gifting wish lists. Scroll on for the items that kept coming up.
