Drew Starkey was Outer Banks’ most unlikely heartthrob. Given he played the brooding, bratty, undoubtedly psychopathic Rafe Cameron—as opposed to one of the chilled, surfy Pogues—it was no doubt a surprise to Netflix when Drew emerged as the on-screen crush of many an OBX fan (if the TikTok edits are anything to go by, at least).
Since finding fame in Outer Banks, Drew has gone on to act in a slew of projects. Most recently, he starred opposite ex-Bond Daniel Craig in Luca Guadagnino’s Queer—a role he told Variety he didn’t even have to audition for.

Are Drew Starkey & Odessa A'zion Dating?
Rumours of a romance have long surrounded Drew Starkey and fellow actor, Odessa A’Zion. The pair have appeared together on red carpets and feature frequently in each other’s social media posts, and have been linked since 2021. They even starred in Hulu’s 2022 Hellraiser reboot together, where they played love interests.
However, despite the TikTok chatter and fancams, it is not clear whether Drew and Odessa are actually dating, or just really great friends.
Neither party has ever confirmed a relationship and both keep their respective love lives pretty under wraps. Odessa was linked to Billie Eilish earlier this year after the singer posted a video of them touching tongues (literally) to her Instagram, but the kiss seemed to be friendly (more on that here).
