Congratulations are in order for Hailey and Justin Bieber, who have welcomed their first child!

The couple shared the news via Justin’s Instagram account at the weekend, with the singer posting a sweet snap of his wife’s finger holding their newborn’s foot.

“WELCOME HOME,” Justin wrote in the caption. The 30-year-old also announced that they had had a boy and even shared his (super cute name,) Jack Blues Bieber.

Fans were quick to note what a “normal” choice Jack was—especially considering how eclectic celebrity baby names can be.

As pointed out by E!, it turns out the choice might actually be an homage to one of Justin’s family members. Jack is the middle name of the singer’s father, Jeremy Jack Bieber.

As for baby Bieber’s funky middle name? The couple are yet to open up about what inspired that.

Hailey and Justin first announce that they were expecting back in May, revealing the news in a series of sweet videos and images from their vow renewal ceremony. The news arrived around six years after they tied the knot.

Hailey told  W Magazine in July that she found it easy to keep her pregnancy under wraps until the second trimester. “I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time,” she told the magazine. “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”

While we are thrilled for the happy family, we must admit a touch of disappointment that Hailey’s stellar maternity style era is on hold!
