Honestly, holding down a relationship when you’re not the world’s number one tennis player is fairly challenging. Spare time? Don’t know her! Free weekends? You’ll have to book in advance. But to manage a relationship when you’re also at the peak of the career you’ve been training for for longer than you haven’t? We imagine that would be, well, near impossible.
For Aryna Sabalenka, tennis’ number 1 female player, she’s having one of the hottest streaks of her career. Apart from a devastating loss — followed by an equally devastating speech — at the French Open to world number 2, Coco Gauff earlier this month, Sabalenka is back to redeem herself at Wimbledon.
Much like the WAGs getting plenty of attention as they watch courtside, the BAHs of the sports world (Boyfriends and Husbands, FYI) are piquing some interest this season, too. Few are garnering more attention than Sabalenka’s partner, Georgios Frangulis though, so here’s what we know about him.
Who Is Aryna Sabalenka’s Boyfriend?
Sabalenka is dating Brazilian entrepreneur Georgios Frangulis. They were first linked in April of 2024, when Frangulis was seen watching Sabalenka in the grandstand at the Mutua Madrid Open. The two have been fairly public with their relationship, with Frangulis often spotted in the player box at Sabalenka’s games. Sabalenka was previously in a relationship with the late Belarusian ice hockey player, Konstantin Koltsov.
Who Is Georgios Frangulis?
Georgios Frangulis is a Brazilian entrepreneur, who’s most renowned for founding acai brand, Oakberry. After starting a law degree but deciding it wasn’t quite his bag, Frangulis instead turned his attention to the world of health foods to launch Oakberry in 2016. Since then, he’s expanded the brand to over 40 countries and has accumulated an estimated net worth of close to $115 million, which, together with Sabalenka, makes their combined net worth around $143.6 million. That’s a lot of Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets (a piece they’re both often sporting).
On the weekend, Frangulis is very into motorsports, competing in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge races. He told Town & Country that although “it’s no easy feat to be a driver in the midst of the whirlwind of growth that is Oak…the Porsche Cup races and training sessions are almost always on weekends.” Talk about a full calendar.
